The Paul Cuthbertson Foundation Fundraiser

The foundation honors the life of Paul Cuthbertson, who passed away on his 21st birthday in a backcountry skiing accident near Eagle, Colorado. Like Paul, many mountain youth have diverse passions – and have moved well beyond dreaming about them to focusing on them. Those passions may include competitive outdoor sports, education, music and the arts – but youth who live full time in mountain communities often lack the resources to continue in those activities even though they may excel in them. Competitive outdoor sports are very expensive, as is education. Those realizing great potential in music and the arts also have limited support in mountain communities. 
The Paul Cuthbertson Foundation aims to bridge this resource gap and over the past two years has provided grants to a diverse array of mountain youth, pursuing passions like World Cup skiing, studying to become a flight nurse, or advancing their talent in musical theater, are among just a few. Learn more about these highly impactful stories and “The Live For Those Who Cannot Scholarship” on the foundation’s web site.
