Laura Jackson is the owner of Adornment Treasures and has been selling vintage kimono in Atlanta.
Emiko Yang is a member of the Tomodachi Club. She is a realtor by trade and a kimono Instagramer.
In recent years, kimono is worn only on special occasions or on a new year’s shrine visit day in Japan. While the popularity of traditional kimono wearing is declining, there has been a rise in the interest in wearing kimono with a modern twist. This trend is spreading all over the world among fashionistas and celebrities.
At the event, Laura and Emiko will showcase innovative ways to wear kimono by blending the Eastern and Western fashions.
